*It is your responsibility to cover all therapy costs that are not covered under your insurance plan. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to inquire about and ensure your coverage.

Private Pay/Out of Pocket

Private Pay via Cash, Check or Card.

To increase the accessibility of our services for families using personal funds, we offer equity-based pricing for all our services. We are happy to discuss all our private pay options via consultation. We can also provide you with a good faith estimate (GFE-see below for more info) upon request to assist in understanding the short and long term costs of therapy.

Equity-Based Pricing

Updated pricing guide coming July 2024. Our equity-based pricing is available for private/out-of-pocket payers not seeking “out of network” reimbursement.

Out of Network Coverage

Other forms of insurance may be accepted if your insurance provider offers out of network mental health benefits. Please check with your insurance provider before your initial appointment. Some insurance companies will reimburse you for out of pocket costs. While we cannot guarantee reimbursement, detailed invoices/receipts ("superbills") can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company upon request.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. You will be charged the full amount of the session for missed appointments or failing to cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment. If a pattern of consistent no-shows or cancellations develops, we reserve the right to end service.

Is therapy right for my myself or someone I know?

For those interested in learning if expressive arts therapy or recreational therapy is the right fit for you, your child/teen or someone you know, we offer 25 minute consults at no charge. Schedule a time on our website!

How much does therapy cost?

Is there a trial period?

Creative Forces Therapy maintains a trial period of 2 - 6 weeks. During this time we evaluate the compatibility of the therapeutic relationship, the fit of the type of therapy we provide as well as the ability for the client to attend the session.
